Palma highlights and countryside Valldemossa
This half day excursion offers a panoramic tour of the main historical and cultural points of the city. You will start by driving along the sea front and viewing the many beautiful buildings of the area , you will stop to see one of Mallorca's most important medieval monuments, the Bellver Castle , which stands on a hill and offers an astounding view of Palma and its port. Afterwards, we will have a 30 minutes drive to Valldemossa to explore this charming village and the surroundings of la Cartuja.
After a drive back to the city you will take a walking tour of the Gothic quarter, La Seu Cathedral, (optional visit ) the city hall in Plaza de Cort, Almudaina Palace and the historic stock exchange building (La Lonja) are the most important monument in the city center. You'll learn about the importance of Mallorca's famous Jewish quarter, while strolling through its narrow, charming streets. Take in the panoramic view of Palma from the Renaissance walls surrounding the old town. You can here stay at your own in the city or you will meet your driver again and drive to the Passeig Maritimo, a waterfront promenade where some of the most important yacht clubs and marinas of Mallorca are located. Finally, return to the port and board your ship.

We were a group of 12 and used Miguel for a shore excursion when we were in Palma de Mallorca in December 2014 on a cruise ship for the day. Communication with Miguel leading up to the tour was excellent and he was there waiting for us at the end of the dock with our name on a sign.
He supplied a very comfortable bus and driver and we had an excellent day with him. He took us to the Castell de. Bellver, a little village called Valldemossa, a scenic drive on the other side of the island, then a walking tour of Palma finishing off with a private tour of the Cathedral. Plus a chance visit to a local wine shop in one of the back lanes of Palma.......It was an excellent tour!
Miguel was the perfect guide. His English is excellent and he is very knowledgable and passionate about the area. I would highly recommend him.
